"THE GREAT DIVIDE" CD. Sonic Seducer translated.
The small noise label Fich-Art has regularly been releasing
high-quality tapes and CDRs of bands such as Ars Moriendi, The
Rorschach Garden, Asche and Morgenstern – i.e. bands that today one
can find at Ant-Zen's. Exactly this label controls the distribution of the
first professionally press CD release from Fich-Art: “The Great
Divide” by Eva|3, project of Englishman Paul Lavigne (no, he has no
daughter). Ten extremely good, cheerful tracks came into being between
2002 and 2006, somewhere between ambient, electronica, minimal and
harsh noise, whereat the dancable, means straight ones, prevail. Two of
the tracks have female vocals, namely the voice of Riotmiloo of the
punk band Venom Seeds. There are also great remixes by Asche, Lith and
P. Münch who runs the label himself. The interesting artwork is by
Salt. All good! by Jörn Karstedt translation by Spitfyr
